Installing the Ceramic Coatings

When we finalize the correction process, our Dsm Detailing technicians apply the SunCoat ceramic coating by hand with a one-inch soft foam applicator. We top off this coat with a special nano-ceramic sealant composed of silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide to give your car an extra layer of immunity. The last step is to ensure the ceramic coat cures for 6 hours to achieve a hydrophobic surface and a permanent bond.

A properly applied ceramic coat will show water beads (a phenomenon that occurs on the body paint when water droplets form on top of the painted surface instead of sticking).
